Terms of Service

The rules for respectful social conversations, virtual Coins and shared time. Please read them before using Virtual Lounge or making a purchase.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. About Virtual Lounge

These terms apply to your use of Virtual Lounge at virtuallounge.eu. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Virtual Lounge. You can contact us at support@virtuallounge.eu.

Virtual Lounge is a social video conversation platform for adults. You can discover other adult users, send virtual drinks and use Coins to initiate private, time-limited, one-to-one video conversations. A virtual drink is a digital platform feature, not a physical alcoholic beverage.

An invitation does not guarantee acceptance, a particular conversation experience, a relationship, an in-person meeting or an exchange of contact information. Each participant decides whether to take part and may end a conversation.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Virtual Lounge. Give accurate age information and do not help anyone under 18 access the service. An age confirmation is not a guarantee that another user’s identity has been independently verified.

You are responsible for the information and photos you supply, for having the rights and permission to use them, and for keeping your account access secure. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your age or use another person’s account without authorisation. Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Respect other users’ choices, privacy and boundaries. Do not share another person’s private information or capture or distribute their conversation without a lawful basis and any required permission.

3. Coins, virtual drinks and pricing

Coins are virtual credits used for eligible features within Virtual Lounge, including initiating conversations through virtual drinks and requesting additional conversation time. They are not physical currency. A user’s Coin balance does not itself entitle that user to partner compensation.

Where paid Coin purchases are offered, the price, currency, Coin quantity and applicable charges must be shown before you confirm a purchase. The Coin cost of a drink or extension is shown before you authorise it. Do not proceed if those details are unclear; contact support.

Demo or test Coins and simulated purchase screens do not by themselves create a real payment. Any offer-specific conditions must be made clear before you accept the offer.

4. Conversations and extra time

The current conversation model provides 15 minutes of shared time. The shared timer starts when both participants have joined the video conversation. Either participant can leave earlier. Reconnecting does not restart or pause an already running shared timer.

Near the end of a conversation, an optional extension can offer another 15 minutes for additional Coins. The cost is shown before confirmation, and the extension requires the other participant’s acceptance. It is not an automatic renewal. If no extension is completed, the conversation ends at its existing deadline.

Connection quality and device or network problems can affect a session. Report failed or materially defective sessions so we can review what happened and the appropriate remedy.

5. Payments

When paid purchases are enabled, payments are handled by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe where offered. The available provider, payment methods and purchase details will be identified at checkout. You must be authorised to use the payment method you select.

Enter card details only through the payment provider’s payment interface. Virtual Lounge support will never ask for your password, full payment-card number or card security code. Payment processing may also be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy information.

6. Refunds and payment problems

Contact support@virtuallounge.eu about a failed or duplicate payment, missing Coins, an incorrect charge or a materially defective service. Include the relevant receipt or transaction reference, date, amount and a short description, without full card details.

We will review the transaction and service records and, as appropriate and required by law, correct the problem, restore incorrectly deducted Coins, provide the service again or arrange a payment refund. A Coin adjustment does not replace a cash refund where the law entitles you to one. Leaving a functioning conversation early does not, by itself, determine whether a refund is due.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged. These terms do not exclude legal withdrawal rights or remedies for services or digital content that are not supplied or do not conform to the contract. Depending on the purchase and applicable law, a distance purchase may carry a 14-day withdrawal period.

If a service is to begin during a withdrawal period, any required express request, consent and acknowledgement must be obtained at checkout. Any loss of a withdrawal right, or proportionate charge for a service already supplied, applies only where the legal conditions are met. Accepting these terms or simply using Coins is not a blanket waiver of those rights.

You may also use any complaint or payment-dispute procedure available through your payment provider and seek help from the relevant consumer protection authority. Contacting us does not limit those options.

7. Approved conversation partners

Selected or approved conversation partners may receive compensation from Virtual Lounge under separate arrangements. This does not make sexual or escort services permissible. It does not guarantee a partner any earnings or create a right for ordinary users to redeem Coins for money.

All participants retain the right to decline an invitation or end a conversation. Payments and virtual drinks do not override another person’s consent or boundaries.

8. Prohibited conduct

Virtual Lounge is not an escort service. The following are prohibited:

  • Offering, requesting, arranging or paying for sexual services, escort services or paid sexual interaction.
  • Explicit adult content, sexual exploitation or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Harassment, threats, abuse, coercion, intimidation or hateful conduct.
  • Impersonation, fraud, scams, deceptive profiles or unauthorised payments.
  • Unlawful use, infringement of others’ rights, unauthorised access or interference with the service’s security.

Do not pressure another user to continue a conversation, reveal personal information or do anything they do not want to do.

9. Reporting and moderation

You can report inappropriate behaviour to support@virtuallounge.eu. Include the profile name or identifier, approximate date and time and what happened. See Support for reporting guidance. You can end a conversation whenever you feel uncomfortable. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

We may review reports and relevant service records, remove content, restrict features, suspend access or terminate an account to address violations, fraud, safety risks or legal obligations. We will consider the circumstances and seriousness of the issue. Urgent protective action may be necessary before a review is complete.

Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error, or to request account closure. Any handling of unused paid Coins, pending purchases or refunds on closure remains subject to the circumstances and your mandatory legal rights; suspension is not an automatic forfeiture of those rights.

10. Content and intellectual property

Virtual Lounge’s branding, software, designs and platform content belong to their respective rights holders. You may use them as needed to use the service, but may not copy, sell or exploit them beyond what permission or applicable law allows.

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You allow us to host, display and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to operate the service, show your profile as described in the Privacy Policy, and handle safety reports and legal obligations. This does not transfer ownership of your content.

11. Availability and responsibility

Using video requires a compatible device and browser, appropriate camera and microphone permissions and a working internet connection. Maintenance, outages, third-party services and network conditions can interrupt access. We aim to operate the service with reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or another user’s behaviour.

Each party remains responsible as required by applicable law. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or were caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control. This does not remove responsibility for our own failure to meet legal obligations.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer remedies or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury where applicable.

12. Privacy, updates and contact

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used and how to exercise data protection rights.

We may update these terms to reflect service changes or legal requirements. The revised terms will show an updated date. We will give notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to purchases you have already made.

For questions or complaints, email support@virtuallounge.eu or visit Support. These terms do not deprive you of the mandatory protections, competent courts or complaint mechanisms available under applicable consumer law.
